Vienna Brown School was not an accident but a divinely inspired vision that came to life in September 2016. Founded by Mrs. Charity Ugwu, a passionate educationist with over 45 years of experience in Europe and Nigeria, VBS was established to create a happy, safe, and stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive.
Our journey began with a robust, western-style elementary program that quickly earned the trust of parents. This trust led to rapid growth, expanding from our early years’ program to a full-fledged Primary School and now, our esteemed College.
Through challenges like the COVID-19 pandemic, we demonstrated resilience and innovation by pioneering a Blended Learning Model, ensuring that learning never stopped. Today, five years down the road, Vienna Brown School stands as a channel for molding future champions, firmly built on our founding principles of faith and academic excellence.
Welcome from the Director
After spending forty-five years in Europe, where I earned a BSc from the University of Salford and a PGD in Education from the University of Wales, my cherished dream was to return to Nigeria and contribute to childhood educational advancement. My goal was to train up teachers who would happily work with me in creating a joyful and conducive learning environment.
That dream is Vienna Brown School. It is a place born in God’s appointed time, bringing laughter and joy to our community. We are committed to working closely with our parents to nurture children who will grow into positive, responsible, and confident lifelong learners.
We thank God for allowing us to play a part in this glorious task and promise to uphold the highest standards of attainment for all our children. Thank you for considering us for your child’s educational journey.
